Delete Your Variochess Account

You can permanently delete your Variochess account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Open Variochess and sign in.
Go to the More tab.
Tap Delete account.
Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Can't access the app?

If you can no longer sign in, email support@variochess.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

The following personal data is permanently removed:

Your profile — username, email address, and name.
Login credentials and all active sessions.
Direct messages, friends, game invitations, and notifications.
Player statistics and notification preferences.
Any premium subscription records.

What is kept (anonymised)

Games you played with other players are kept so those opponents retain their own game history — but your identity is removed from them. Your name is replaced with an anonymous placeholder (e.g. deleted_user), and no personal data remains in those records.
